Reading Spot

I usually do most of my reading at home in my bed. It is the only place in my house where I can be alone, and I usually don't have time to read until bedtime, but I do read before I go to sleep every night. Right now I am reading a book called Overseas by one of my favorite authors, Beatriz Williams, but I am a little disappointed in it and think it is the worst of all of her books because it it cheesy. I hope everyone likes my unicorn pillow with my name on it;)

Coronavirus Poem

I don't know how everyone else is feeling, but I am having a hard time staying positive. Normally I am not an anxious person, but this social isolation is really getting to me! I like the simple details that this poem points out, and I also like the positive perspective that maybe we will appreciate things more because of this experience. You know I hate Tuesdays, but maybe I will appreciate boring Tuesdays a little more after this! This all feels overwhelming, but this poem also reminds us that it will pass, and we will return to life. I hope that when we come out of this we are all better one way or another.
